Work you'll do

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to oversee a critical team responsible for managing the full lifecycle of server patching and cloud-native deployments in our hybrid cloud environment. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security, stability, and performance of our IT infrastructure, while also driving innovation through the adoption of cloud-native technologies.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead a team of engineers responsible for server patching across physical, virtual, and cloud environments.
  • Design and execute a cloud-native deployment strategy, ensuring efficient and secure application delivery across cloud platforms.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest cloud technologies and best practices for hybrid cloud management.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for vulnerability management and timely patch deployment, minimizing security risks.
  • Collaborate with security, development, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of patching and cloud-native deployments into existing workflows.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for patching and cloud-native deployment processes.
  • Implement automation tools and scripting to streamline patching and deployment processes.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to patching success rates, security posture, and cloud-native deployments.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement process optimizations.
  • Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team.

Do you possess the following?:

 

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in IT operations, with a focus on server administration and patching.
  • Proven experience in managing patching processes across hybrid cloud environments (physical, virtual, and cloud).
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with cloud-native development methodologies (e.g., containers, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning and patch management tools.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement

Total Rewards


The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
