What will your typical day look like?

In this interesting and diverse role, you will:

  • Lead the technical team’s efforts in development, design, modelling and support of Omni from an architectural and programmatic perspective.
  • Develops and maintains end to end, ETL, data ingestion and pipelines from a variety of Cloud (AWS, Azure and GCP) and on premise (VMware) assets into Omni.
  • Analyze business requirements and develop architecture to support, articulate the approach to team members, steer junior team members to develop solutions.
  • Implement monitoring and processes to ensure data accuracy, quality, and reliability to holistically identify issues and address data gaps, in a multi touchpoint environment.
  • Articulate data management best practices and communicate to the team and management.
  • Develops and maintains complete documentation on the system and processes.
  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies – standups, sprint planning, iteration planning, author stories and tasks. 
  • Participate in code reviews and promotion of code to production.
  • Support development activities in Dev, Non-Production and Production environments.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

Required

  • 3+ years experience with Python, Scaled Agile, Azure Dev Ops, AWS, Data modeling. SQL and NoSQL (mongo).
  • Hands on experience with DevOps in an agile environment.
  • Experience with Microservices.
  • Recent relevant experience working within Cloud based environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) for application delivery.
  • Working knowledge of inventory management or data platforms.
  • Knowledge of managing and working with cloud-based assets (Tagging, Ingest, Validation, Propagation)
  • Degree in computer science, data science, computer engineering, information technology, or equivalent industry experience.

 

Preferred

  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as PowerBI
  • Knowledge of Data Lake, Data Lakehouse architectures and Data warehouses.

The salary range for this position is $69,000 - $114,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
