We are looking for an experienced Manager to join the Regulatory and Legal Support unit of our Risk Advisory practice.

In this role, you work in a collaborative team environment to analyze issues and address client challenges related to risk management with a focus on regulatory compliance.  

What will your typical day look like?

 

Managers are expected to contribute to the firm's growth and development in a variety of ways, including:

 

  • Lead the delivery of complex financial services advisory and implementation engagements ensuring exceptional client service
  • Manage, maintain and develop key client relationships
  • Employ executive communication and presence, including written reports, storyboarding and verbal presentation
  • Employ a structured approach to project management to ensure client satisfaction and project profitability
  • Manage a diverse team of talented resources and provide ongoing coaching to enable them to reach their highest potential
  • Contribute to practice growth and development through market eminence

Qualifications:

 

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in risk management such as regulatory risk, technology risk, internal audit, compliance, AML, etc.
  • Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Business Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Economics or related field
  • Hold a professional title such as a CPA, CRMA, CIA, CAMS or other relevant postgraduate degree.
  • Experience in professional services, financial institutions or a client-based environment; functional experience in compliance and risk management
  • Good understanding of the Canadian regulatory landscape and expectations; with some proficiency across a line of business such as Wealth, Retail or Capital Markets
  • Superior verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in both French and English.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and demanding environment while building and maintaining relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Willingness to travel to client locations, as required
