The Opportunity

The Learning Coordinator reports to the Manager, National Audit Learning and is responsible for full administration of Deloitte Audit technical, industry, professional, and/or leadership learning programs across the country. The Learning Coordinator will work with the Manager, Learning Operations to ensure their initiatives are delivered effectively and meet expectations. This position is a permanent role with benefits and the position will be based out of Montreal.


As a Learning Coordinator, you will perform the following activities:

  • Project manage a portfolio of technical, industry, professional and/or leadership learning programs, with a national and/or regional scope.
  • Key activities associated with managing the learning portfolio would be:
  • Manage learning administration processes
  • Manage the implementation phase of learning events
  • Coordinate the delivery of learning programs
  • Manage logistics: Venue logistics and coordination with conference planning
  • Coordinating pre and post session materials 
  • Travel arrangement communications and parameter setting with Merit Travel
  • Learner management which includes: 
  • Determining course enrollment and tracking attendees
  • Providing participant lists based on client parameters 
  • Sending appropriate invitations/ registration information
  • Opening/closing Saba offerings and organizing any additional Saba requirements 
  • Attendance tracking
  • Facilitator/Faculty coordination, which includes
  • Tracking and recruitment of facilitators
  • Logistical communication
  • Manage vendor relationships, budgets, and planning processes, when appropriate
  • Manage client, stakeholder, and extended team member relationships and expectations, providing regular status updates and timely responses to inquiries/requests
  • Manage a group of clients associated with the portfolio of technical, industry, professional and/or leadership learning programs and designation accountabilities
  • Set up learning calendar, create budgets, and/or track spend against budgets, when appropriate
  • Management of the learning operations mailbox
  • Sending attendance/offering creation information to GLAS (Global Learning Administration Services)
  • Answering general learning questions
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

The successful candidate will have the following: 

  • Expert in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Bilingualism: Excellent written and verbal communication in French; must be fluent in English as well.
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Undergraduate degree or college diploma
  • Previous experience in a coordinator position would be an asset
  • Previous learning experience would be an asset
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Experienced working with professionals of all levels in a fast paced environment, often with tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks based on relative importance and urgency
  • Experience working with financial data
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Some travel will be required (approx. 15%)
