What will your typical day look like?


Advise clients regarding ad-hoc and strategic issues, but also support them in crisis management and sensitive matters. Collaborate with your colleagues and other professionals within Deloitte. Draft and review contracts and policies. Manage cybersecurity incidents. Conduct legal research and participate in providing legal opinions. Build relationships with clients and be recognized as a primary business advisor. Assist in developing internal and external conferences, presentations and publications. Act in major files for multinational businesses.

The Cybersecurity, Privacy and Digital Law group at Deloitte Legal Canada acts as a trusted advisor in empowering clients to achieve their business goals. We provide businesses with the advice they need to make informed decisions, support them to comply with a multitude of legal and regulatory requirements, and assist them in all aspects of risk management associated with cybersecurity, technology and data management.

Our group provides business-oriented expert and practical advice on managing cybersecurity risks prior to and after an incident, responding to challenges related to digitalization and privacy management, and negotiating IT contracts.

We have the privilege of being affiliated with Deloitte, a world-renowned professional services firm, and being able to collaborate with other entities of the group worldwide.

You are someone with:

  • A bachelor’s degree in law and an exemplary academic career.
  • A member of the Quebec bar.
  • 6 to 7 years of experience gained either in private practice or in-house at a  large organization in the fields of technology, cybersecurity and/or privacy law.
  • Excellent drafting, research, analysis and communication skills.
  • Bilingual language skills: fully fluent in written and spoken English and French.
  • A meticulous, thorough and detail-oriented approach. An entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary environment.
