The typical work schedule for this position is from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. The schedule may change depending on events.

What will your typical day look like?

As an Event Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will be to:
- Ensure the delivery of high quality events with the support of the various teams.
- Coordinate and participate in corporate events.
- Coordinate room set-ups.
- Coordinate equipment and/or furniture requests with the appropriate departments.
- Communicate with the client if additional information is required before sending requests to the different departments. 
- Manage customer expectations and explain the proceses.
- Coordinate meeting room requests.

About the team

Our Customer Experience Team is made up of Customer Experience Professionals (CEP) who provide valuable services in all of our offices. Customer Experience Professionals deliver an exceptional customer experience and exceptional service fueled by a positive attitude, excellent work and an innovative approach. Our mandate is to create a welcoming atmosphere and ensure that our offices are always ready to welcome our staff and external clients.


Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You have the following:
- Experience in coordination, organization and event management.
- Team player, positive attitude, strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English and excellent interpersonal skills. 
- Ability to establish credibility and collaborate with all Deloitte Canada staff.
- Client service experience essential, strong negotiation skills and ability to manage priorities under tight deadlines 
- Essential qualities: attention to detail, accuracy, organizational skills 
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite and Manhattan software an asset
-Availability to work overtime
