What will your typical day look like?

The Information Technology Services department of Deloitte is seeking a Systems Engineer to support our Real Estate Infrastructure technologies.  This person will report to the Manager of the Real Estate Infrastructure team and will work in a group setting and alongside specialists in other infrastructure disciplines including networks, storage, virtualization etc.

The successful candidate will participate in day-to-day operations of our real estate technologies including Audio/Visual systems, Video Conferencing, physical security systems, digital signage and other collaboration tools.

•    Provide Operational support of services related to Real Estate Infrastructure including but not limited to all audio-visual, videoconferencing, and physical security systems
•    Proactively monitor and manage audio-visual, videoconferencing and physical security systems
•    Basic Crestron programming and GUI creation using Crestron tools
•    Administer Windows 2016 servers
•    Assist in the installation, configuration and deployment of audio-visual, videoconferencing and physical security solutions
•    Collaborate with other IT teams as required
•    Develop and maintain documentation on systems management and operational procedures
•    Manage and document system configurations following ISO 27001 standards
•    Follow operational policies and processes that are compliant with ITIL standards 
•    Participate in change control activities 

About the team

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

•    Minimum 2+ years supporting audio-visual systems
•    Sound knowledge of digital signage
•    Completed a post-secondary program, preferably in computer science or a related discipline 
•    Demonstrated customer service orientation with exceptional relationship building abilities
•    Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting incidents and performing root cause analysis
•    High degree of pro-active initiative, drive, self-motivation, ability to learn, responsiveness and good judgment
•    Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks around changing priorities
•    Able to work effectively in a virtual team-based environment
•    Excellent communication, organizational and follow-up skills

Due to the nature of the role having interactions with National & Global clients, bilingualism in French and English is required for this position.”
