What will your typical day look like?

As a Manager, you will interact as part of a project with senior executive clients (i.e., C-suite, EVP, SVP level). You will also support business development opportunities; provide assistance in the delivery of projects, supported by a core team of Consultants; apply a strong knowledge of multiple industry trends and business practices; contribute to the growth and development of the Strategy & Business Design practice; create a learning environment through leadership, participating in the development and delivery of industry training programs; and must be legally able to work in Canada - the ability to enter the USA and Chile to work on client assignments is also an asset.

Managers are leaders within the Strategy and Business Design practice (Monitor Deloitte) of Deloitte consulting’s SAMA portfolio (Strategy, Analytics and Mergers & Acquisitions), contributing to business development and overall project delivery leadership. Managers possess a deep industry knowledge and skill expertise such that they are viewed both internally and externally as “subject matter experts.” Additionally, managers play an internal role in firm management, supporting practice-building initiatives and actively contributing to the practice’s distinct culture as organizational role models.

Strategy & Business Design (Monitor Deloitte) is a team within Deloitte’s Consulting practice. At Monitor Deloitte, we partner with companies to help solve their most complex challenges, build competitive advantage and deliver lasting positive change. Enough about us, let’s talk about you

As a Manager, you must have:

• A strong academic record with an MBA or comparable graduate degree
• A minimum 7 years of professional consulting experience in the energy, natural resources, mining, industrials, or manufacturing sectors
• A understanding and/or experience in the management consulting profession
• Experience in leading teams in complex engagements
• The capability to advise clients operating across multiple industries
• Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence
• Experience in business development and delivering the full cycle of project management accountabilities
• Experience in problem diagnosis, solution development, client communication, decision-making facilitation, documentation, stakeholder management, project profitability, and team leadership.
• Given the nature of our team's national engagements, bilingualism in English and French is required for this position

• Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills

Eligibility to work:
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
• The ability to enter the United States and work on client assignments is an asset.
• The ability to enter the EU and other developed countries is an asset.

Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $175,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
