What will your typical day look like?  

  • Collaborate with team members on project delivery activities  

  • Receive, analyze, and understand business requirements  

  • Translate business requirements into technological solutions 

  • Perform testing, implementation and support after implementation  

  • Support functional and technical recommendations based on understanding of client’s business and objectives 

 

As a Practitioner in the CDC, you will be part of a team that delivers new technology solutions or upgrades to our clients. We count on you to help clients define their requirements, design, develop or configure solutions, analyze client business processes, transform client data, test the solutions, etc. In short, you’ll be working with your team and clients across the entire implementation cycle. In our view, the best Practitioner have a versatile skillset and are passionate about learning new technologies and solutions. These can range from highly technical individuals capable of implementing high quality solutions, to those with strong functional skills who can ensure that we are providing the most business value possible for our clients with each solution we deliver. 

 

The best Functional practitioner has strong analytical skills and is able to interpret business requirements. These individuals follow Deloitte methodologies, best practices, create functional design documents, system configuration and support models to meet the current and future business needs. Our functional team applies critical thinking, proposes concrete solutions to resolve client issues and translates business requirements into technological solutions. We implement a variety of solutions that touch the following areas: human resources, finances, supply chain, commerce, data analytics, workforce management, customer relationship management and much more. 

 

 

About the team  

Our Canadian Delivery Centre (CDC) is part of our network of globally distributed centers, and today is made up of 500 experienced practitioners.

The CDC provides services that are repeatable, scalable and standardized to support client engagements nationally. Services focus mainly on different technology-related areas.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you 

You are someone who has:  

  • Currently enrolled in post-secondary degree or in a CEGEP program graduating from human resources, finance, supply chain, commerce, data analytics, workforce management, customer relationship management programs by September 2026 

  • Interest in continuous learning to extend your knowledge to technology, support client cloud transformations and meet client’s business needs 

  • Ability to develop new ideas, conceptualize new approaches and solutions 

  • Proven analytical skills and systematic problem solving 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and/or French (both would be an asset) 

  • Demonstrated advanced knowledge with Excel and the other Microsoft Office applications 

  • Are legally eligible to work in Canada and able to enter the USA to work on client assignments

Total Rewards  

The salary range for this position is $40,000 - $77,000 and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
