What will your typical day look like?

Position Summary:
The Supplier Engagement Program Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and expanding Deloitte’s supplier engagement initiatives with a strong focus on accessibility, equity, and inclusion. This role will lead efforts to broaden engagement with equity-seeking groups, enhance accessibility assessments in procurement, and drive robust reporting and integration of diverse suppliers across projects and procurement activities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

1. Accessibility Assessments in Procurement

  • Establish and manage a program to assess vendors’ accessibility practices.
  • Ensure all vendors meet Deloitte’s accessibility standards throughout the procurement process.

 

2. Broadened Scope for Equity-Seeking Groups

  • Expand the supplier engagement program beyond People with Disabilities (PWD) and Black-owned businesses to include all equity-seeking groups.
  • Enhance marketplace initiatives, including planning and executing supplier bazaars across Canada to showcase diverse suppliers.
  • Leverage the supplier.io database to identify, engage, and grow a broader pool of diverse suppliers.

 

3. Tier II Supplier Expansion

  • Expand Tier II supplier engagement efforts by requesting primary suppliers to commit to a specific percentage of spend with diverse suppliers.
  • Track, measure, and report on supplier progress against these commitments.

 

4. Project-Based Reporting & Integration

  • Launch and manage a robust, project-based reporting strategy to identify and track diverse supplier opportunities by project.
  • Collaborate with procurement and business teams to proactively integrate diverse suppliers into sourcing strategies and project plans.

 

5. Stakeholder Engagement & Program Management

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and advocate for supplier engagement, accessibility, and inclusion within procurement processes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and community partners.
  • Monitor industry best practices and regulatory requirements to ensure program compliance and innovation.

Global CoRe provides seven fundamental services to Deloitte around the world: knowledge services, creative services, contact center, data management assessment services, data protection, procurement, and real estate. We develop new and innovative ways to improve how these services are delivered across the organization, leveraging our global scope and strength to serve our organization within and across borders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in supplier engagement, procurement, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of accessibility standards and strategies for engaging diverse suppliers.
  • Experience managing complex projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency with supplier engagement databases (e.g., supplier.io) and reporting tools.

 

Total Rewards


The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
