What will your typical day look like?
The Global Optimization team is responsible for identifying innovations internally and externally and applying them to Deloitte’s global transformation strategy. The team manages related strategic projects coordinating heavily with global functional and technical teams. The team has exposure to CIOs, COOs, and other senior leaders across the Deloitte network (DTTL and Member Firms). The team accelerates transformation through innovative change across DTTL and Member Firms enabled by globally integrated, consistent, and transparent business processes, governance, investment frameworks, and program leadership.
This role will influence and facilitate key stakeholders across global technology and enabling areas. Resources are expected to be self‑starters who can complete assigned activities with limited oversight, but with guidance from the team’s leaders. This role and the team must be comfortable working with a globally diverse and dispersed team. As the Manager, Transformation Strategy & Governance, you will:
- Manage overall coordination of program planning, execution and delivery of cross-program design and delivery to meet technology and business requirements
- Develop an effective strategic business partnership with globally dispersed team and clients
- Establish and facilitate regular cross-program governance and status meetings.
- Own and produce executive reporting- create executive ready decks and dashboards that distill complex analysis into clear recommendations for senior leaders
- Facilitate process governance activities, including reviewing process design changes and serving as escalation point for items related to the key requirements of the business
- Drive program teams to meet key cross-program milestones according to planned schedule
- Manage and escalate program issues and risks as appropriate; proactively identify and manage the resolution of risks and issues that may negatively impact a program or deliverables; seek and implement innovative ways to remove project obstacles
- Deliver timely cross-program reports and performance dashboards. Conduct regular project reviews and communicate the status of programs in both formal and informal settings
- Document, share, and leverage cross-program lessons learned
- Build relationships with stakeholders and program teams to effectively manage and deliver quality to client stakeholders
- Promote effective teamwork and spirit of partnership
- Contribute to the success of the team by ensuring work quality of the highest level

Do you possess the following?:
- Strong project management skills: minimum three years of project management experience, with a focus on leading teams, being a self-starter, operational delivery, planning and implementing integrated/global projectsClient-service minded with a focus on continuous improvement and strong process documentation skills
- Proven track record in navigating through complex organizations, and with strong influencing skills to drive initiatives through to their successful conclusions
- Can interpret business objectives and drivers to shape initiatives to deliver outcomes that fulfil these business objectives
- Experience in data gathering and facilitation techniques
- Demonstrated leadership and attention to detail skills through prior experience at the strategic and tactical/implementation levels
- Comfortable with creating reasonable structure to meet the objectives of the task at hand in ambiguous environment often with limited information
- Organizational, analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills
- Organized with ability to prioritize and manage client expectations across multiple, competing projects/priorities with aggressive due dates and quick turn-around times
- Written and verbal communication skills; Strong ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
- Executive presence, professional client service manner, demonstrated ability to take initiative and interact with all levels of management and adapt to business needs
- Ability to work under constantly changing conditions and tight deadlines, Flexibility and ability to pivot work as necessary
- Demonstrated experience leading and interacting with virtual teams across multiple time zones and in matrix organization Strong background in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint (high proficiency with experience in storyboarding executive decks)
- Strong background in utilizing project management tools
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Consulting and/or strategy experience
Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
