What will your typical day look like?

 

As a Consultant, you will determine the appropriate framework to approach a problem; build relationships with clients at multiple levels; design qualitative and quantitative research tools; understand the client’s business environment and customer base; synthesize findings; assess and understand clients’ key issues, identify business strategies to help them succeed; investigate and define operational improvements and lead the creation of presentation and communication materials.

Examples of client engagements can include: Designing and delivering transformed end-to-end service experiences to customers and employee, delivering process transformation augmented by data-driven tools, streamlining operations through save-to-transform strategies, implementing new technology solutions as part of a large business transformation

Other Consultant duties include: Working with Senior Consultants and Managers to set and drive problem solving approach for client engagements, taking a leading role in the overall delivery of project deliverables, providing support and mentorship to junior practitioners, offering expertise in areas of specialization, contributing to the growth and development of the practice and supporting and leading internal leadership roles focused on practice development.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

 

You are someone with the following attributes:

1-3 years of relevant work experience, including exposure to business transformation, operational modelling, service modernization, digital solutions and strategy execution 

An undergraduate degree in Business, Public Policy / Administration, Finance, Engineering, or other relevant degree (MBA or other relevant master’s degree is considered an asset)

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams 

Superior verbal and written communication with creative ability to conceptualize and articulate new approaches and solutions (bilingualism is considered an asset)

Comfortable working in an ambiguous environment with competing deadlines and rapidly evolving client needs and conditions

Strong business acumen with solid analytical skills

Commitment to professional and client service excellence with the ability to build solid relationships

Ability to obtain federal security clearance

Experience with digital product delivery, advanced analytics and disruptive technologies (intelligent automation, AI & machine learning, cloud) is an asset

Experience with Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) and related enabling technologies is an asset. Certifications in project and/or program management is also an asset.

Experience in the Health Care or Social Services Sector is an asset
