What will your typical day look like?

As a Senior Consultant, you will work with an outstanding client portfolio and client service team. You will coordinate and perform internal controls, internal audit, IT internal audit, IT assurance, and/or IT risk and control procedures. Conduct analyses and prepare supporting documentation; evaluate and test processes and related controls; develop appropriate approaches; manage and review work of consultants and analysts; and assist in the preparation of the reports. You will effectively serve client needs and develop strong advisory relationships with client personnel and display teamwork, integrity and leadership. You will utilize leading edge technology and data analytics toolsets to continually learn and deliver business insights to our clients. You will also provide value-added and relevant analyses of an organization's governance, risk management and internal control structure, performance, and efficiency.

About the team

We help transform internal audit functions by teaming with, or serving as, the internal audit function to make improvements in internal control and process efficiency and contribute to effective regulatory compliance. We provide input to established internal audit functions on their strategy and purpose, resourcing models and technology.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You are someone with:

  • Have a professional designation of Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), (CPA, CISA are an asset)
  • A minimum of 2 years of internal audit-specific experience is mandatory (5 years is preferred)
  • University degree in a business, accounting, or computer science discipline with strong grades
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams
  • Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills and fluently speak/write in English
  • Willingness to travel, when/if required
  • Strong commitment to professional client service excellence
