The Financial Crime, Investigations & Disputes practice is seeking an experienced Director to help lead and grow Deloitte's Western Canada market presence. 

What will your typical day look like?

This leadership opportunity is ideal for an established professional with expertise in financial crime, investigations, disputes, forensic services, fraud risk management, anti-corruption programs, regulatory matters, and related advisory services. The successful candidate will bring strong market credibility, trusted client relationships, and a demonstrated ability to originate and grow business opportunities while leading high-performing teams and delivering complex client engagements. 

 

Working closely with regional and national leadership, this individual will play a key role in expanding Deloitte's presence across British Columbia and Western Canada while contributing to one of the country's leading forensic and financial crime practices. 

About the team

The Financial Crime, Investigations & Disputes practice helps organizations respond to complex business challenges involving fraud, misconduct, regulatory scrutiny, financial crime, disputes, and investigative matters. Our multidisciplinary teams combine deep industry knowledge, investigative expertise, advanced analytics, and innovative technologies to help clients identify, prevent, and respond to risk while protecting enterprise value and reputation. 

 

As part of Deloitte's national network, practitioners collaborate across regions and service lines to deliver market-leading solutions to public and private sector organizations across Canada.

Role & Responsibilities 

  • Lead the growth and development of Deloitte's Financial Crime, Investigations & Disputes practice across Western Canada.
  • Drive practice development initiatives and contribute to the ongoing growth and success of Deloitte's national Financial Crime and Forensics practice.
  • Build and enhance Deloitte's market profile through thought leadership, networking, and industry participation.
  • Develop and maintain senior-level client relationships across public and private sector organizations.
  • Originate, sell, and deliver work across forensic investigations, disputes, litigation support, fraud, financial crime, misconduct, and related advisory services.
  • Function as a trusted advisor to executive leadership teams, boards, legal counsel, and key stakeholders on sensitive and high-profile matters.  
  • Mentor, coach, and develop practitioners while fostering a high-performing and inclusive team environment.
  • Support the creation and execution of regional growth strategies and business plans.

Total Rewards


The salary range for this position is $157,000 - $293,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
