What will your typical day look like?

 

The role would include duties such as:

 

  • Execute meeting room requests received in the system.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders for room set-ups, meal orders, catering services, etc.
  • Participate in various meetings with different stakeholders to finalize the organization of these meetings.
  • Set up and tear down of catering for meetings and training sessions.
  • Clean and organize service station, equipment, and plateware
  • Complete invoice and billing requirements and manage vendor relations
  • Support other Workplace services team members as required
  • Assist with reception duties

The Workplace Services role draws upon knowledge of the specific function discipline and the organization's business practices, to provide services to ensure the safe, efficient, and effective operation of the organization. The Central Business Services group is seeking a Workplace Services Professional for our Calgary office.

You are someone who is/has:

 

  • 3-4 years of work experience in administration, customer service or hospitality
  • Experience in coordinating and organizing various meetings and events
  • Team player, positive attitude, strong verbal and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience in hospitality food and beverage would be an asset 
  • Ability to establish credibility and collaborate with all Deloitte Canada staff
  • Client service experience essential, and ability to manage priorities under tight deadlines 
  • High degree of organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills 
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • First Aid, Pro-Serve and Food Safety Certification would be an asset
  • Availability for occasional overtime
  • Ability to lift 40lbs
  • Able to work onsite in office Monday – Friday.

The salary range for this position is $33,000 - $60,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
